This recipe and method has been passed down for generations and leaves your skin feeling clean and moisturised. The honey used in this bar is raw unfiltered honey from our own hives. Each bar weighs 4-5 oz and is handcut at approximately 1 inch thick. This recipe is unscented . The benefits of all of these ingredients has been carefully researched and chosen for their beneficial skin boosting properties. Oatmeal is beneficial due to the non-irritating and low allergenic potential. Oatmeal can help hydrate and nourish skin. It can also help protect against photoaging. Oatmeal also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help with skin conditions like eczema, acne and psoriasis. Honey draws moisture from the air and binds to the skin. Honey also contains natural antioxidants that fight free radicals, one of the leading causes of premature aging. Lard has several of the same chemical makeup as our skin. Traditionally lard has been used as an anti-inflammatory. Coconut oil is know for its antibacterial and antimicrobial skills. It is also hydrating and has the ability to provide a protective layer to the skin. Olive Oil helps enhance skin elasticity and appearance due to olive oil contains Vitamin E.
