Notes for the Science Geek:Each Soap displays the Element's...Atomic Number--96Symbol (abbreviation)--CmProper Name--CuriumAtomic Weight--247Ground State Electron Configuration--2, 8, 18, 32, 25, 9, 2 ANNOYING LEGAL STUFF:First intentionally produced and identified in 1944, and kept secret until it was finally revealed to the public in 1947, CURIUM was named to honor the pioneering work and research on radioactivity by Marie and her husband, Pierre Curie. While the element IS radioactive, this soap is NOT! You can rest assured that there is NOT any actual CURIUM present in any of the ingredients (as shown in the last photo), so this is NOT a bar of soap made from pure CURIUM! You won't even find any pieces of Marie OR Pierre Curie mixed in among the ingredients. That would just be weird. And GROSS! IMPORTANT PHOTO NOTE: Besides its gift box, each ELEMENT SOAP comes wrapped in plastic to protect it. I did NOT unwrap these to take the photos...obviously! As a result, the wrinkles, bubbles, reflections, "blemishes" on the lettering (or "missing" letters/numbers) which are ALL evident in my photos, are because of this wrapping, NOT any sloppy craftsmanship in any individual, hand-crafted piece. These are all first quality or the Chief Bubble-maker would NEVER have sent these to me! My photos are MY headache! (That's also why I took the "angle" photo...to show a different perspective that can allow such "issues" to be shown as the fault of the wrapping!) STOCK UP! SOAP UP!
